Caricature Resolution winds down with: DAY 28: CHESTER BENNINGTON DAY 29: CHRIS CORNELL DAY 30: BOB MARLEY I’m posting three caricatures at once, because even though I continued to do one each day, I got behind in posting them to my blog/page. Also, I was not very enthused with or […]
Day 27 of the deceased-celebrity-celebrating-caricature-challenge knows as Caricature Resolution features: LEMMY KILMISTER The metal icon from Mötorhead offers a lot to caricature. I did a cartoony style with this one, but ran up against the problem of showing dark facial hair against dark head hair against dark clothes and trying […]
Day 26 of Caricature Resolution 2018 is: RONNIE JAMES DIO Not being familiar with a subject makes the caricature more difficult. This is the case today, as I’m not that acquainted with Mr. Dio’s image as much as I was with most of the previous subjects. Therefore, trying to keep a […]
Day 25 of Caricature Resolution calls for caricature of: JOEY RAMONE This one looks kind of quick and dirty because I didn’t spend as much time and its in a more cartoonish style, but also because I can’t control my fingers, I can’t control my brain, oh no, oh, oh, […]

Day 23 of Caricature Resolution 2018 is: TOM PETTY Finally, a subject with features you can really sink your teeth into!

Day 21 of Caricature Resolution 2018 is: Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou AKA: GEORGE MICHAEL I didn’t have time to spend rendering today, so I just inked in my initial sketch and colored that. I chose the hair-tastic 80s version so I could use his amazing coiff as the focal point of […]
Day 20 of Caricature Resolution 2018 is: TUPAC SHAKUR Keeping the painterly technique for today’s illustration, I once again failed at going big on exaggeration. I started out trying to overemphasize things like hat, nose, mouth, but as I kept resizing other elements to retain the likeness, I. Managed to […]
Day 19 of the 31-day drawing challenge to do a caricature a day known as Caricature Resolution 2018 is: MUHAMMAD AL Today I went with a painterly style in Procreate on the iPad Pro, doing the whole thing using just the Niko Roll brush. Something I would not normally think […]
