January of each year is when I participate in the month-long, daily drawing challenge of creating a caricature each day from a list of famous people provided by the organizers of the Caricature Resolution Facebook group and the International Society of Caricature Artists (ISCA) of which, I am a barely-joined, non-dues-paying ancillary member.
The caricatures I created as part of the challenge once again are shown below. The theme to the list this year was: Actors who both played the same character in the same continuity in a movie or movies. I did them all separately, but for the end, I put the actors together and listed the parts they played, as well as drawing them as the character they played rather than themselves, as I usually do (well, in some cases, I drew them as they are now, and just holding a “mask” of them as the character. I wasn’t very consistent, realizing I would have to draw four faces for each day.. so I didn’t do that on all of them.)
