Dat 11 of Caricature Resolution calls for drawing the daughter of Bill Hudson and Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson. I started with this pose, but wanted to do something more cartoonish and less realistic, so I went with a second pose, but kept some elements of the first one, and ended […]
Day 10 of Caricature Resolution 2020 calls for drawing the offspring of Jada Pinkett and Will Smith, Jaden. He seems to have had a lot of different looks over the years, as I found out when looking up reference photos. I decided on a bit younger look before the crazy […]
Day nine of Caricature Resolution 2020 calls for doing a caricature of Jane Fonda. After considering whether to do younger (1960s Barbarella, 1980s Workout, 9 to 5, etc.) versions or recent one, I decided to keep on the theme of doing recent versions of the celebrities and then only had […]
I went with a more stylized, geometric look for day 8. The late Brandon Lee, son of the late Bruce Lee, was the subject. I exaggerated the jaw and everything else, giving one person the idea the caricature was supposed to be of Glenn Danzig, but no, this is Brandon.
Day 7 of the nepotism-themed, “Caricature Resolution 2020” calls for drawing the daughter of Blythe Danner and Bruce Paltrow, Gwyneth Paltrow. I drew her in comic style inks with painterly coloring. Posed in front of one the products that her Goop company purveys. The Jade Egg.

This time, Donald Sutherland’s son, Kiefer, of “24” and “The Lost Boys” fame, among many others. I was determined to get both realism of rendering and exaggeration of features together in one caricature that […]

I have to admit, I wasn’t sure who Toby Jones was, when I saw today’s assigned celebrity caricature. Once I looked up his IMDB credits, I realized I had seen him in many films, but didn’t know his name. I was just going to go with a simple, black and […]
Day 3 of the month-long Caricature Resolution challenge calls for me to draw daughter of OJ lawyer, Robert Kardashian, and former wife of both him and Bruce and Caitlyn Jenner, Kim Kardashian-Jenner. Here is my version, created on an iPad Pro 12.9″ using Apple Pencil 1.0 on the MediBang Paint […]
Day Two of Caricature Resolution 2020 calls for Lloyd Bridges’ son, Jeff to be the caricature subject. I thought I had a good exaggerated likeness when I first penciled it out, as seen in the screenshot with the reference photo and my Procreate screen on the iPad Pro. However, by […]
